What You Will Do

As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for strategic development of additional business opportunities by communicating RateLinx’s value within specific logistics technology channels. Responsibilities:

  • You will use your previous experience to build a robust prospect pipeline for our Sales team to meet with and close business.
  • Your consultative approach to the prospects in a given channel will establish RateLinx as a solution for adding to or augmenting those channel specific technologies.
  • You will also represent RateLinx as a valued benefit to existing channel relationships already in place.
  • As a member of the Sales team, you will be a part of growing the top line sales volume and contribute to our successful, growing company.

  • Taking the initiative to lead conversations and explore new frontiers, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple priorities.
  • In addition to having a bachelor’s degree, your experience spans at least three years in the transportation industry or related field, and/or technology sales.
  • Experience prospecting for ERP or WMS solutions a plus.
